Commentary

I really love the Cadavers. Everything about their design, save for some number tweaks, is like, perfect to me. I feel like many of the complaints I've seen totally miss the purpose of the Cadavers (of course you can't tell when you're infected, the point is communicating with your friends and checking on each other!)

That being said, they absolutely saturate the building with their presence in their current state, and that's pretty ridiculous. Ideally I think their rate of spread should be nerfed, and passing through an infested area should be a lot more dangerous than it is now. But I don't understand enough about their behavior to feel confident making those adjustments myself yet, so I'm settling on a compromise instead.

v80 established 4 power level as a valid category for monsters, as the giant sapsucker graduated from 2 power to 4. A common community sentiment, one which I agree with in the present state of the game, is that Cadavers earn a 4 power level rating. So I've given it to them. Now you will have a lot less "other stuff" to deal with when Cadavers are present in the building. Just make sure to bring your weed killer and watch out for one another.
