523 Ooblterra is the new map added by Welcome to Ooblterra. All of Welcome To Ooblterra's custom content, by default, can only be found by routing to 523-Ooblterra.

Story Information

Note that what follows is non-canon to On Your Hands.

"Like any good corporation, The Company is always down for some aggressive expansion. However, when a drunken and desperate mad scientist came to their door and offered to sell them the secret to a brand new alien planet, they didn't believe what they were hearing. But he told fantastic tales of a world where the floor was alive and wriggled beneath your feet, with strange creatures both friendly and deadly, and most interestingly to the company: facilities full of alien scrap built by a recently extinct civilization. So they paid him his sum, and he teleported a few contractors to a fascinating new place: Ooblterra."

It's only a matter of time before the company manages to figure out the planet's space-coordinates and get those contractors back. And then they'll open it to all their employees, including you!

HISTORY: Ooblterra was once ruled by a race of beings with sentience comparable to human beings, but they've all since seem to have been killed. Legend tells of a "Moon Landing" that caused strange creatures to begin appearing.

FAUNA: Some deadly, some nice. Some not quite belonging here.

Gameplay Information

523 Ooblterra is an endgame-tier moon for Lethal Company. It costs 1700 credits to route to, and currently features no weather conditions. 523 Ooblterra exclusively features its own custom enemies, hazards, scrap, and interior. The cost and spawns can be adjusted via Configuration Files.

523 Ooblterra does not feature a day/night cycle. Instead, a fog is over the moon at all times, and gets much thicker as the day progresses, with a particular ramp-up beginning after 4PM. 523 Ooblterra's surface will also begin sprouting Bear Traps as the day progresses, though how or why this happens is currently unknown.

523 Ooblterra features its Main Entrance on an elevated platform, and it features a single Fire Exit across a pool of harsh, acidic water. 523 Ooblterra also includes 5 Story Logs to be found across its surface.
