[Beta Modpack for LCv62] A quality life modpack I put together for my friends for v62. A modpack which focuses gameplay on diversity and variety for the players, monsters, moons and their interiors. An immersive, horror casual-serious experience of fun with 120+ mods.

Aluminium Coils Upgrade buffs to the zap gun for better usage efficiency
Clay Glasses Increases the maximum distance spotting a "Clay Surgeon" entity.
Traction Boots Increases the player's traction to allow easier movement direction change.
Running Shoes Faster running speed + Light Footed (Maxed Level)
Reinforced Boots Reduces incoming fall damage.

Fast Encryptions Transmit signals faster.
Hunter Allows you to collect and sell samples from killed monsters.
Lightning Rod Redirects lightning to the ship. The closer you are the better.
Sick Beats Gives the boombox a buffing aura (regens, defense up etc) etc
Walkie GPS Upgrades the walkie talkie to show your position and time.
Discombobulator Stuns enemies around the ship. Type initattack or cooldown in the terminal.
DropPod Thrusters Make the drop pod ship deliver items bought on the terminal, land faster.
Efficient Engines Applies a discount on moon routing prices for cheaper travels
Market Influence Guarantees a min percentage sales on the seleccted items in store.
Lethal Deals Guarantees at least one item will be on sale in store.

Malware Broadcaster Instead of disabling turrets and landmines; Destroy them.
Protein Powder Final upgrade of protein powder unlocks the chance to deal a critical hit
Locksmith Just run into a locked door to start the minigame. Strike the pins in the order they flash to unlock the door.
Iterns Pay x amount to revive a player.
Fedora Suit Makes Butler enemies not immediately attack you when alone with them. (Someone's gotta look good)

Bugs & Issues. ❌

  • Thunderstore APP - Noticable

    • Known to crashed itself sometimes. As long as you hit modded play and then it crashes afterward is fine. Lethal Company will still load mods.
    • The game may crash the first time. This is normal.
  • Weather - Noticable

    • Not sure what may be causing it but weather seems to desync when others are late joining.
  • Sounds - Noticable

    • Sounds may be heard globally when players drop items. Sometimes this happens and not sure why.
    • Client players may hear the ambience more than the host.
  • Mutliplayer - Occasion

    • Due to complications with MoreCompany & Lobby Control. Players joining at the same time may lead to a nameless and glitched player joining lobby. Joining the host in a more timely manner may fix the issue. I've only experienced this once.
    • This also may be due to having configurations that aren't the same as the hosting player. Make sure you all are having the same configurations!
    • Making a new profile and re-downloading the modpack will give you all the configurations of that current version.
  • Wesley's Moons - Occasion

    • Cosmocos landing on this moon may cause issues.
  • Interiors - Noticable

    • Some unreal interiors are way too dark. Will voice my concern about them. Otherwise may configure them not to spawn in the future.
    • Xen Interior is only reachable in Xen's Moon. May change for those to experience everywhere but i would personalized them for better experience.
  • There may be more bugs I haven't found yet. Voice your concern, suggestions and optimizations by emailing me @ [email protected].


NOTICEME

Q:Will playing on a new save with newly updated mods work.

A:Although it is possible to play with newly added updates. There's a low/medium chance it'll just break so play on new saves if you update. You can always stay or download on previous versions.

Q:Will you add more mods?

A:Mods that bring more enemies, items, interiors and moons(mostly LLL or lethalib dependant or added their own API) will be added. I don't know how far the modpack will go.

  • These mods get tested about 3-4 times a month and may occur more whenever I feel I have the time for it and may lead to updating the modpack more than regularly. So understand what version is most stable for you until you're ready to update.

      • GetSkinId will let modders keep tabs on what skin is assigned to what enemy
      • GetEnemyId will let modders get the SkinRegistry's enemy type of an enemy with a skin assigned to it. This is necessary if you need to know if a skin will be compatible at runtime.

      • MinimumStartingMoney now works without having to be paired with StartingMoneyPerPlayer, if you want to use it as a hardcoded money setting for new saves.
      • Fixed a bug that would subtract the value twice every time a client disconnected.
      • Fixed a bug that would refill the credits if another player joined after a ship unlockable was purchased, or if the tracked credits were negative.
      • Fixed a bug that would throw an error if the tracked credits went negative (background tracking to prevent purchase exploits).
      • Fixed a small Time monitor bug that would not initialize properly when quickly exiting out during a level load and reloading the save file.
    • As part of this fix I chose to remove the 1 second update timer requirement for that monitor, since the new rendering system will never render the same thing anyway.
      • Remove AllowLookDownMore from the config and code since it has been implemented as of v64.
      • Fixed toilet paper being marked as conductive.
      • Removed flask, plastic cup, and whoopie cushion's conductivity fixes since they are now in v64 vanilla.
    • Made the CompanyBuyRate monitor more compatible with BuyRateSettings
      • The monitor will still briefly show an "incorrect" buy rate for a short duration after a quota is met due to how BuyRateSettings updates it.
      • Fixed AllowPreGameLeverPullAsClient not working for clients if a new moon was travelled to before the game start.
      • Fixed ScanPlayers only working if FixPersonalScanner was also true.
      • Fixed a bug where PlayerHealth monitors would not update after a player was killed (mostly affected PlayerHealthExact).
      • Fixed a bug where the OvertimeCalculator monitor would not update while in orbit over the company.
      • Fixed a bug where the ScrapLeft monitor would display an incomplete value for clients on very large moons from calculating before the scrap was fully loaded.
    • Potentially fixed a very rare edge case when using certain regional PC settings with Gale mod manager that would interpret weather multiplier values incorrectly and clamp them.

    • Added fixes to recenter the inventory UI, and maintain the position through all window sizes. This can be disabled in the config in case of mod conflicts.
    • Previously, the inventory UI elements were not guaranteed to be centered, and may be shifted left (or right) on certain window sizes/aspect ratios. This should keep the UI centered now.
